My first ever quilt! I had made so many samples (most are shown below) that I figured I finally should learn to quilt. Its kinda crazy colored, but I love it. I got to raid my mother's quilting fabrics and pick out the ones I really loved. I had the idea that this quilt would be all calm, pale cottons to really show off the embroidery, but well, I didn't have any money to spend on it, and she had so MANY Kaffe Fasset prints that I just couldn't say no to any of them! So its kinda crazy, but its really fun to look at, and thats what is important. Keep an eye out, I'm working on some quilt patterns to coordinate with my embroidery patterns! Maggie |
